DIRECTOR, CHONTAY D. HUTCHINSON

She is 37 year old native Detroiter who received a divine visitation by a male angel at the age of ten, whom simply called her name, "Chontay". During her childhood, she experienced physical and sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, and domestic violence by the hands of her son’s father throughout her teenage years and into young adulthood, and escaped danger & death several times. She received Divine Deliverance from alcohol abuse, codependency, low self-esteem, depression & a very sinful life by calling on the name of Jesus under the power of the Holy Spirit.

Despite her painful beginning, she was determined to persevere through her pain unto her purpose. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University in 1996 and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Her ultimate goal is to earn a PhD in nursing with a focus on the community and to own a residential community health center for teenage mothers. She is an entrepreneur & the owner of Chontay’s Virtual Nursing Assessments, a unique health agency. She also is the Director of DIVINE INTERVENTIONS. DIVINE INTERVENTIONS is a mother baby program that supports pregnant women and infants.

She likens her call to Jeremiah (the weeping prophet) and Joseph (the dreamer). Her passion is to minister deliverance through counseling to those oppressed by the enemy; in order that they may fulfill their God-given purpose. She is a member of Detroit World Outreach under the anointed leadership of Pastors Ben and Charisse Gibert in Redford, MI. She credits her strong faith as a result of the teachings of her former pastors James and Jaqueline Smith (Faith Outreach Ministries) and her spirit of excellence to Pastor John Drew Sheard (Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God in Christ) both in Detroit. Chontay is married to Strody M. Hutchinson and the proud mother of Joe (18), who attends Saginaw Valley University and Taylor (10). Her family resides in Brownstown, MI.

Her life is certainly a testimony to the saving grace of the ministry of Jesus Christ.

"Repentance"
by Chontay Hutchinson

Blessed is he that readeth and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. ~ Revelation 1:3

It is good to hear messages that encourage us or make us feel good. These messages provide for the strengthening of our faith. But we also need to hear messages whose purpose is to rebuke, reprove, and/ or correct our wayward behavior and/or lifestyle. If we are honest today, God is judging people and nations for unrepentant sins. These are the signs of the times of judgment (wars, famines, earthquakes, pestilence, etc.).

Many who proclaim to being saved are actually perishing. There is a great call for repentance right now. We must examine ourselves and be willing to change from the error of our ways if we are to be numbered with those who will be saved during the great judgment.

God does not compromise His Word; it is pure and true. It is a sin to live with someone that you are not married to, it is sin to lie, cheat, and steal in order to appear successful, it is sin to have homosexual relations, it is sin to hold malice in your heart toward others and the list goes on. We can no longer take advantage of the fact that God is full of mercy and slow to wrath. Repent now. Judgment is beginning @ the household of faith. Roman 6:23 declares that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Throw down your idols they are not worth your relationship with God through Christ. Repent for the time is at hand!

"Prepare The Way of the Lord"
by Chontay Hutchinson

“The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” ~ Isaiah 40:3

The Lord has sent your breakthrough!

In order for something to be broken and/or broken through it requires excessive force. For example, in order for a bottle to break it must be thrown down hard with force - the key here is force. God is speaking breakthrough today but only to those who are listening in the Spirit and understand that it is going to require faith with works will receive this Word from the lord. Somebody has been believing God for a long time for deliverance from an oppressive situation - your breakthrough is here.

Here is another example: Ever needed to get from the car to the house quickly in the rain? You wait for the opportune time to run in hopes of not getting wet. In all actuality, the rain no matter what, is going to continue to come down hard. So, you might as well break through as fast as you can and run on into the house. You see it is not really about the rain but getting your Spirit ready to go. Ecclesiastes 11:4 tells us that “he that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap”

All those nights you cried, God was preparing you for the breakthrough. Every time the devil stole your money God was preparing you for the breakthrough. All those days you endured the sickness and pain God was preparing you for the breakthrough. All those days you accepted criticism against your dreams and aspirations God was preparing you for the breakthrough. You see the breakthrough is only for those whom God has prepared through suffering to receive it.

Thank you Jesus for the breakthrough!

Receive it by faith with your works ~ love you. . .

"Open Glory"
by Chontay Hutchinson

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord. ~ II Corinthians 3:18

Glory represents the revealed manifestation of God. We often think of glory as the answer to our long hard prayers such as the salvation of our loved ones, an abundance of money, a successful ministry, a new business, a healing in our body or mind, the escape from an untoward situation. . ., etc.

Glory does not come overnight; neither is it something that is freely given. Glory is the result of a tedious and vigilant process of change. Often times than not, to get to glory, we must endure hard trials, guilt, shame, disappointment, or the consequences of our mistakes. This is painstakingly true. In order to move toward glory one must discipline themselves to the surrendering of the Holy Spirit. We must discipline our minds to accept only those things that agree with the word of God. We must be willing to be obedient to the ways of God by using the example of Jesus Christ (the Word). We must become living epistles to be read by men. We must accept that some things we cannot change ourselves, but we must allow God to change for us. We must release all doubt and fear and enter into a state of rest by the empowerment of the Holy Ghost.

We must recognize that glory is really not about the things that we hope to possess, but about the change that the Lord is doing on the inside of us. The end result is the manifestation of the Kingdom of God which is joy peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. Each time we overcome the test of temptation to sin we are taken into a new glory in the spirit; a higher character.

Again…”but we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord.”

God will not bring us into this glory until He can see His image; who is the “Lord: of hosts.

Live in freedom!

I hear the abundance of rain. . .

God bless you SISTAHS,
SISTAH Chontay

"Power To Overcome"
http://askministernurse.blogspot.com

Overcoming strongholds appear to be impossible to the natural man, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We all struggle with issues; some are apparent, some only known by you & God.

We must recognize that the enemy is after one thing, the power given to you by God.

Jesus tells us in the book of Acts 1:8 that "But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you... and we shall be witnesses unto the uttermost part of the earth." We see here that we have strength to overcome every demonic stronghold in our lives through our belief, dependence, & obedience to the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit is tremendous, it will get you through anything and take you anywhere according to the will of God.

It is not His will that we live in fear, torment, defeat, bondage, destitution, or despair. But it is our inheritance to overcome every hinderance & stumbling block in our lives. We must use this power in order that it may become more powerful...

Ask God today to give you wisdom on how to use this power to overcome that thing that you have been struggling with for a long time. But be sure to wait for His answer to come.

Be strong in the Lord, My SISTAH!
