T.E.A., Inc. stands for Teaching and Equipping with an Anointing. T.E.A., Inc. is a 501c3 organization and conducts ministry workshops as the TEA Party. The mission of the TEA Party is to provide a safe haven of hope where women from all walks of life can be renewed, refreshed and strengthened through biblical teachings based on the Word of God. We seek to provide women with resources that are beneficial to the growth of the total woman.

The TEA Party meetings are free to the public and available to anyone who wants to attend. Each TEA Party consists of a meal, seminar training material including books and other handouts, Bibles and other giveaways, all provided at no cost to each attendee. All giveaways are in line with the topic of the month.

Minister Mary Edwards is probably best known for her community revitalization work alongside of her late husband Rev. Eddie K. Edwards. Together they founded the Joy of Jesus Ministries, which is located on the eastside of Detroit near City Airport. This work earned them the 107th Point of Light Award from former President George W. Bush, Sr.


Minister Edwards was the founding director of Camden House, the family life center of the ministry. As a result of this successful outreach, she was chosen to serve as a consultant to the advisory team in our nation’s capital commissioned to study the “Root Cause of Substance Abuse.” In 1996, Minister Edwards retired from Joy of Jesus and began new initiatives. These include:


• His Lovely Wife Ministries, a support group for women in spiritual leadership.
• The Called and Ready Writers, a Christian writers guild presently consisting of over 55 active writers.
• Widows With Wisdom, her latest ministry, established to help widows make the adjustment to living alone following the loss of their spouses.


She is the radio show host of “Widows With Wisdom” heard every Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. over Radio Station WLQV (1500 AM). In addition to these ministries, Minister Edwards is the author of seven books, including her autobiography, Born Grown. A significant testimony from her autobiography appears in the very first “Chicken Soup for the African American Soul book released on September 16, 2004. She is an international author and speaker.

Anointed gospel recording artist Carine (care-EEN') has a ministry motivation to bring people into the presence of The Holy Spirit through exuberant praise and passionate worship. Sister Tavares, since 2004, has represented various musical artists and producers, promoted authors and has assisted with event planning, coordination and execution for conferences, seminars and other networking events.

Mrs. Carney is an avid reader and book reviewer of Christian fiction and non-fiction, as well as literary works that inspire, motivate and/or encourage. Some family heirlooms are worth a lot monetarily, others are priceless like the story passed from great-great grandmother to grandchild. Many family trees are filled with priceless mementos that are a major part of our individual identity. Some negative things are shared as well, like insecurities, doubt, and fear. Most people use these passed down feelings as a means to excuse themselves from achieving what they want in life. For, N.I.F.T.Y., Nubian Intelligence from the Yahweh life is not that complicated. “Life is not a game” although “we treat it like a contest.” He is passing down encouraging lyrical stories to his listeners as a way to link them with the lessons he has learned- lessons that will de-complicated the lives of many. At 24, N.I.F.T.Y. is filled with the kind of old time wisdom and is passionate about sharing this knowledge with others to “enrich the minds of the upcoming generation."...

Feliz is a disciple of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She confessed her faith at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. M. J. Dean at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Greenville, MS. Later she moved to Minneapolis, MN. Feliz was called in a dream by the audible voice of God telling her to minister to his people.

Through longsuffering and patience, victory and triumph Feliz has developed a special love for hurting and bleeding individuals introducing them to Jesus Christ and his principles and precepts. Overcoming the obstacles of adoption and divorce, she shares her personal testimony according to her faith, in love and under the direction of the Holy Spirit. As a result, she founded and serves as president of Women Encouraging Each Other-Women Refined by Fire/Made Pure by The Cross. She is host of the radio program Ark of the Covenant, Director of Youth Impact, and serve on the board of Independent Holiness Church Women Conferences of Oklahoma City, OK. Serving in many facets of ministry, Feliz is also a devoted mother to her beloved children Lynkacia, Kirkaria and Kirky Jr. She takes no credit for anything but give all Glory and Honor to Jesus Christ (The Anointed One).

After establishing herself as a premier artist and creative force with her "All of Me" release, Octavia Harris has come full circle. Higher Heights Ministry was founded in 1990 as a downtown lunch hour bible study with just one person and Evangelist Patricia D. Pitt. The Ministry of the Watchman began in 1990 as a prophetic teaching and intercessory prayer ministry. It began with the vision of Barbara Williams, who felt a strong desire to teach and train people who would be skilled in warfare according to the Biblical functions of the Watchman. Knowing the need in the world for prayer, Barbara obeyed the call of God to develop the ministry into a format that is easily taught to all believers.

Responding to the word in Habakkuk 2:2 to write the vision down and make it plain upon tables that he who sees it may run with it, she developed the prayer manuals that are used internationally by watchmen. Shonell Bacon is the co-author of "LuvAlwayz: The Opposite Sex & Relationships and Draw Me with Your Love", both published by Strebor Books/Simon & Schuster. Though writing is Shonell’s first love, academia is a close second. She has received her BS in Communication Arts, MA in Mass Communication, and MFA/MA in creative writing (fiction) and English, respectively. Currently, Shonell lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she battles fragments, comma splices, and essays in the freshman composition courses she teaches as English specialist/instructor at the local university.

The best part of building relationships is getting to know someone beyond the superficial realm, which is often times where we keep people and wonder why it didn’t last.

Over the course of my bloglife I’ll share me. I never remember people that I meet who try to give me all of them in one conversation. Surely our uniqueness is more than grilled chicken over mixed greens…so let’s have a feast of a time getting to know one another. Just like great cuisine, my life has been full of tantalizing appetizers, drink specials, to-go lunches, 5-course meals, and decadent dessert! Just like great cuisine it’s had it’s share of heat in the kitchen.

I currently reside in B’Ham, AL - that’s Birmingham for those new to the cityslang of the south. I’m originally from Houston, TX and although I miss H-Town terribly, along with my family, I’m doing well here. Above all things, it was a purpose move and because of it, I’m more beautiful. I’m the only child born to parents who had me when they were in their late, late 30’s. I am not the first child, just the first to make it safely out of the womb into my mother’s arms. She had trouble carrying a baby to term until me.

God has used Evangelist Brinson in the gift of prophecy, and it shall come to pass. Evangelist Brinson walks in a very anointed Prophetic Mantle. Our mission is to be empowered by the kingdom of God through the Holy Spirit and to bring young girls, teens, and women closer to Christ. To be used by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to bring the lost, abused, bruised, and broken-hearted women closer to Christ. To help enable them to know whom they are in the kingdom of God. To help enable them to know whom they are in the kingdom of God. To encourage them so that they will know they don't have to be of the poverty world. It is also to bring families out of poverty and teach the women with lack of training the word of God. To help uplift those who have low-self esteem, to teach them the way to Christ.

Word of Life Fellowship Ministries (WLFM), Inc., under the leadership of Pastor Andra, is a non-denominational, non-traditional multicultural, teaching outreach ministry designed for worship and training. Our endeavor is to present a life-changing ministry of the Word of God to the world. We will provide a solid Bible-based teaching and preaching environment of the Word of God; spread the Gospel locally and abroad through teaching tapes; promote a well-balanced lifestyle to the whole person, spiritually and naturally, through various training sessions; further minister the Word of God through various outreach ministries; and partner with similar ministry organizations as a contribution in unifying the Body of Christ.
